I've heard for so long that the Nike+ isn't accurate, and some complaining about the GPS options, so it's good to get some details on why. So far my iPod apps (I have not tried the roadbud yet) haven't been accurate enough to justify the pain of turning off the wifi and carrying my iPhone with me on all runs.
