My phone syncs with my gmail calendar, but my appointments only give a little beep - not enough to wake me up.

*Love* the titled alarm idea.

I sync my Outlook calendar with my phone and make sure I set appointments with a 'real' subject which is displayed when the alarm is triggered.

I'm more likely to get up if I see "Race if 5 days so run 10k now" indead of "Run 10k at 45min pace".

If you miss one alarm though, that trust you have is broken and it's hard to earn it back. Always have a backup plan, a noisy child, cat or dog will do the trick...

Check out a 99 cent App called Earthquake Clock (don't ask) which combines a really fancy alarm clock with a flashlight setting, as well as, the current weather, and/or news. All this before you get out of bed for your run. Unless, of course, the weather or the news are so bad you decide to go back to sleep. Better knowing than not knowing.

Love the site, keep up the good work!
